I’m pretty sure that we’ve been fighting for the same thing since December. It’s the built-in hazard when people, stubborn as us, like each other. I don’t put myself on this limb too often and to be honest, I balance worse than my fast minded mouth would offer. I don’t know what happened; I know the moment when I realized. Collect all the best pillows you can find. Or, better yet, face what we feel and come over, and sleep.

Negotiate.
Let's lay in hypnosis tangled sheets,
While the idol arms that oft ought held you weep.
This is what helpless is;
Surrendered like the body and the companies we keep.
I am a dot on the sentence where the sentinels stand.
Reposed with the wind when the tide wears down.
You were always late.
Stand down, stand down.
Time always comes when the hands come around.
Brandished like the fires that can no longer breathe,
I am the spot on our faces that freckle when you speak.

Clingy
She was up and feeling the prettiest she had in weeks.
Time enough for the both of us to run away in the panic sort of speak.
Sort of half God/half machine...
And read me books of hidden love and seek.
The things for which you look are found in between
My hands pressed on, and my tongue; restlessly caressed near your cheek.
(and after)
Abating the breath from my lungs.
Sort of half God/ Half man birthed by the machine.
And the words like "love" get redacted.
We tossed up our hands to look like doves
And I will not stop breathing for the sake of your love.
I am a spot on the sentence where your two lips combine.
Quickly out of time.
On the sink of the stitch, On the blink of an inch in the eye.
(and before)
Before for you come back
And so this never happens again,
Stay punctual, you are the dot that marks my end.

Shove.
These goddamn birds will keep me up all morning.
There's nothing like the paltry graphite and coffee.
So don't get bogged down in pretty
When the push comes to mend and the ducks are all ugly.

You, Sweet, Are Worth These Next Four Months Until I Bail Out. Yeah...
Saves the Day does something to me that is completely indescribable.
I feel alive.
One love.
Josh

You Can't Recreate the Sound of Home
I'm watching Seinfeld. Everything evens out for Jerry. George had a conversation with Donny Baseball. Speaking of the Yankees... they are playing in an hour and if they don't start getting their act together real soon...ugh...
I surprised the guys with shirts yesterday. They absolutely flipped. They were running around the street in excitement. It was pretty cool.
Work is starting again. I have a decent job.
Indiana Jones is back at midnight tonight. Jbot, Jon and I are going. Boo-ya.

Blocking
"Let's get these tapes rolling.
Let's step into the roll."
But I've mastered these gimmicks
And now I'm selling the world.
The director, he called you into action
'Cause your repertoire makes up a list of distractions
And your makeup case is much too expensive
To be wasted on a two year attraction.
Well I have got a lot of big ideas, don't you even get me started...
Or on how the only thing I can say for myself is, "Well, at least I'm honest."
And honestly, I'm pretty sure that I can convince myself of anything.
So the actors tried to halt production
'Cause a disappointment stemmed from some rather brash assumptions.
And your follow-through is far too absent
To be expected in alike situations.
Back in the day, when my hair was much longer
And you were so much happier;
We really could've been something...
And the critics went to a rush of judgment
But the penitence for their bias was quite unrequited.
And the cast and crew went on with their performance
Citing, "Look what you've done trying to change someone."
